Just not enough time...

Boy, sometimes I wish I had more time. I am either at work or home and there seems to be not enough time to enjoy things. I have been trying to schedule a vacation with my husband for the last month and every time I take a day off something comes up and he can't take off. We really need this time together and I am hoping that it happens soon. I tried to take off around our anniversary on the 19th of August and all was set and then he gets an email and was scheduled to take a class in Maryland for two weeks. Disappointed...I probable shouldn't be since I know how his job is and at any time plans could change but I have to say that I really am. So now he is off in Maryland and I am home to celebrate our anniversary alone...hum...

My son J. has started college...wow...he started on Wednesday August 15th. Time really does fly by when you are not looking. He actually got up without me waking him and got ready and went to school. I was still amazed. I guess college really does change a person. I hope he enjoys it too.

My other son N. starts school on August 27th. I thought for the longest time it was August 20th. I don't know why but I did. We got his schedule all set up but when it came he ended up with a gym class and he doesn't need a gym credit so now we have to go back to the school and get it changed. He did switch schools so now he is in the right school district for our location.

My daughter S. got another tattoo. Yes we are addicted to tattoos. She got a cross on the top of her foot. She is going to get rosary beads around her ankle to along with it. It looks pretty good. She went with her boyfriend and he got one too. My tattoo is healing really nice. It is almost done with all the scabs so I will be posting a picture soon. My husbands looks really nice but he didn't have as much color so his healed quicker.

Well work sucks. There is another concert in the park tonight so I will be working until about 10pm in the 100 degree heat. I have started looking for something different so if anyone has any idea's please pass them along. Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying their day.

What a week...

I am sure glad that this week is over. After all the back and forth about my ex father in law it has been one long hectic week. Still not sure what is going on with all of it. I do know that he has already been cremated so if there is something it will only be a mass service with him there. WE will just have to wait and see.

Work is busy. I have auditors there and it is very crowded in my little office/copy room/mail room. Yes all of those things are in my office space so everyone comes in there to do all of that. Not much fun most of the time. Also not too confidential when it comes to bookkeeping. Oh well will just have to live with it.

My son N. only has one more day of drivers ed and then it is off to get his permit. Well it had to happen sometime. Really not looking forward to this. I am not a person who likes to be a passenger in the car unless it is my husband driving. Oh well...we will have to wait and see what happens on Monday with his test.

This weekend was a very nice one. My husband was going to surprise me with a weekend trip away but the place he wanted to take me was all booked up. But he actually surprised me and we had breakfast yesterday and ended up at the Chop Shop tattoo place. I have been bugging him for a while for a cross tattoo on my back and we went yesterday and he got one too. I will post some pictures as soon as it is healed. It looks awesome. Can't wait for next weekend to come. WE both took off on Friday to spend some quality time together. :-)
