Another week...

So another week goes by....it was pretty quiet at work since some were on vacation. We did have our Fayetteville After Five at Festival Park but that was pretty quiet too. I don't know if it was because it was a country band or it was hot out but we just didn't have the crowd like last time. I did spend most of the week catching up on stuff at work. And then on Friday one of our ducks got hurt so we tried to find someone to take it and care for it. It only took about 2 hours to track someone down after tons of phone calls later. But hopefully it will get better and be ok.

My son N....what can I say. He went and took the EOC test in English again and failed again. So I spend 3 days of lunch hours calling his school, the school he will be transferring to, summer school, the Education Department, the social worker all to find out what I can do next. He did pass the class so his new school didn't think he needed to attend summer school. His old school said the only options were to attend summer school or repeat the class. Summer school said that he couldn't just take the test without being enrolled in the class...hum...so basically I was going round and round in circles. Finally I decided to leave it up to the new school to decide what to do next year. Then on Saturday I receive a letter in the mail that they are going to give him the credit for the class and pass him. All that time calling and calling people and they decided to sent it up for review with the school board who has the authority to pass or fail him and they passed him. So now it is off to drivers ed this summer for him.

Not much else going on this week...I was going to take some time off the first of July but my husband can't get the time off so I will just cancel my two day vacation. I was a little disappointed but kinda used to it. Anyway he wanted to start some home projects...every since he came back from his mom's house, he wants us to go through each room and clean it out. We have only been here for 10 months and did that before we moved and right after we moved so I don't know what stuff he thinks we still have. So now one night a week we will tackle a home project...hum fun....NOT....but I guess it will count as quality time with my man...
